This is a reference page for the Iron 180 release that will commence at 10 AM Eastern on November 14th. Please read all the details here ahead of time. After ordering, you will NOT be able to change your plate layout, top layout, or color for your Iron180.

Iron180 Features

The Iron180 is the second board in the IRON series, sharing the same aesthetic and design language of our debut board, the Iron165.

The Iron180 is available with either a black aluminum base, or an optional full brass bass. The Iron180 is available with either a Winkey or Winkeyless top.

• QMK/VIA compatible PCB, designed in collaboration with Gondolindrim
• Unified C3 USB-C daughterboard (centered on case)
• Optimized plate for consistency on every key press (see analysis below)
• Color-matched Rune artisan keycap
• Polished stainless steel Rune in base

Iron180 Colors

Each board can be purchased either with a black anodized aluminum base or with a full brass base (media blasted, UV coated).

• Graen (Midnight Green)
• Graphite
• E-white

The brass base upgrade will be $250, and will replace the anodized aluminum base.

Supported Layouts

CannonKeys is offering two plate layout options, semi-fixed. All plates support split backspace and split right shift. The ANSI plate is not compatible with the Winkeyless top.
