These are full nylon housing linear switches produced by Durock. The top housing has Durock branding. Durock has made new molds for this, and told us that the top and bottom housing are both made fully of Nylon, and that the stem is POM.

After a using about 10 or so different switches over the years this is still my favorite by a long shot.
As reference I value sound over the feel of the switch, as well as normally don't spend a high cost on the keyboard housing itself.
If you want a good thock sounds without spending a ton on an expensive board and don't mind spending some time lubing the switches, this is the switch to get in my opinion.
Grabbed these for a friends bakenekko and he loved them! The purple is so nice and the switches go really well on an FR4 plate. Not as smooth as a switch like the Alpacas but the sound is solid. planning on purchasing these for a future build for my persona build :)
I am now transcendent. I thought my last keyboard was the high of keebs, but then I tried these on a custom board, and my old boards feel hollow. Meaningless. I have been enlighten by the Lavenders, I now live in a world of transparent lavender and opaque white plastic. May God bless the Durock Lavender Linears, for they have forever blessed me.
Right out of the box these were a nice clacky/poppy sounding switch thanks to the factory lube, and after lubing all of them, they were much deeper sounding and feeling. I made the mistake of overlubing them as it's my first mechanical keyboard, so I'd recommend going lighter on the lube or using a less thick lube than GPL 205g0.
Sound tests for both factory lube and hand lube are on the Youtube channel below.
In terms of appearance, these switches look great and will turn your RGB a slight lavender color, but that's easy to account for.
I got these to replace the Gateron pro reds that came default in my board and they're awesome. I like the heavier spring weight a lot more than I thought I would and they sound wonderful, very creamy but still deep. I am yet to lube and film them, but they still sound and feel great without it. A handful of switches came with bent pins out of the bag, but that's a super easy fix so not a big deal!
