Bakeneko60

$130.00

Color

Bakeneko60

Our version of the Bakeneko60 features a few key changes from kkatano's original design: We closed the bottom holes, added cutouts to the plate (to allow for assembly removal), and modified the case to be made using a casting process. We also designed our own hotswap & solder PCBs with multiple layout support.

Just add keycaps and switches for a complete build! Our Build Guide will help you build this kit from start to finish. For added comfort, pair your Bakeneko with a wooden wrist rest.

Budget Price, Endgame Feel

Originally designed by kkatano, the Bakeneko60 is an open-source keyboard featuring an o-ring gasket. An o-ring between the plate and PCB provides friction to hold the plate/PCB assembly in the one-piece case. Cutouts on the PCB allow the o-ring to rest on the mounting points built into the case. The result is a bouncy typing feel with a great sound profile

Customize Your Build

Several addons are available including different types of o-rings, wrist rests, and PCBs!

Quality Disclaimer

In order to allow us a quicker cadence of restocks and keep the price low, our Bakeneko60 uses a casting process. Please reference the quality guide below on what you can expect for surface finish quality with the Bakeneko60.

One of the best keyboards money could buy for less than 200 dollars

The keyboards still cheaper than others even after tax and shiping and the cannon keycaps are really nice for 40 dollars paired with any 20-40 cent switch the keyboard is great sound and feel. But get your switches first and a feel for switches

Exactly what I wanted!

The Bakeneko60 is an easy beginner build with a sound that punches well above it's weight class. It has become my main keyboard for gaming and typing. If there was a 75% or a tkl it would without a doubt become my main keyboard for everything!

VALUE is all I can say!

First off I’ve had high end boards $800 plus that don’t even compare to this board. I got the flash black and the sparkle looks incredible. This is a higher pitched “clack” board to my ears and I love it after I got out of that “Thocc” phase. Put a piece of zip n fit at the bottom of the case and forget about it have it paired with clackbits stock and it’s music to my ears! WELL worth the money for the kit!

First time builder,

I’d been looking into custom building my own keyboard for a while, and wasn’t sure where to start, I stumbled upon cannon keys by luck and I’m so glad I did!
I bought the Bakeneko60 in sky blue as my set up is blue and white,
I have to admit I struggled building when it came to the plate and the switch’s I didn’t quiet understand. But after YouTubing it I figured it out!
I have found the space bar stabiliser is a little rattling, but that’s something that can easily be solved with lube.
The case itself is heavier than I expected but is great quality and gives a great feel to the build and sound.
Im so proud of myself and my beautiful keyboard!
The quality is brilliant and the colour is stunning!
If I’m honest I’m really tempted to purchase again!
