AEBoards Naevy Tactile Switch R2 (40)

The aim of the Naevy switch is to create a new type of tactile - affordable and good as a stock switch. We are still in early days of where we want to be for the ultimate tactile but we believe that have something available to the market that you’ll love - a smooth, great new tactile feeling. Bottoms out a little bit earlier and moves the bump to mid/mid-top.

Terrific Tactiles that don't need modding!

I bought into the hype of these switches when they released, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered a pack, which was enough for one of my keyboards, just to give them a shot. I'm no switch reviewer, but I found the tactility, feel, and sound excellent. On top of that, they do look very nice.

The bump begins right at the top, with essentially no pre-travel. They sound very clacky with GMK caps/PC plate, similar to shaking a paint can. They are slightly scratchy, but personally I prefer some scratchyness to a perfect smooth switch. There's a slight big of spring ping if you listen with your ear next to the board, but it's not enough to be noticeable during normal use.

I look for switches that don't require modding, and these are exactly that in my opinion. They're a great tactile option and I'd be happy with throwing these into any board. (

Nice stock feel

Switches themselves are nothing special - with a deeper sound than most other tactiles and sharp feedback.

BUT trying to pull them out was such a pain that I'll never use them again

You can hardly hear the tactile sound
